Empeltre olives are a delicacy that is typical of Bajo Aragón and Terra Alta (Tarragona). Soft and fine skinned, they ripen in the olive tree. They have been in brine for at least 10 months, and afterwards they have received a bath of extra virgin olive oil at the right temperature. Thanks to this, we can pack them without liquid, keeping their characteristics unchanged.
They are best together with tapas and as a snack
